Ren Lawrence loves a good adventure. After all, he is the guy that once toured the United States alone on a motorcycle. So, this adventurous streak served him well when he transitioned from the conventional food industry to the natural foods industry – an industry once considered a bit like the wild wild west in traditional food brand circles. After having worked at industry icons Heinz, Pepperidge Farms and Keebler, Ren began his career in the natural foods industry with Made in Nature. He subsequently worked for Organic Valley, Stonyfield Farm and now wildbrine. Ren was drawn to the natural foods industry by the opportunity to be involved with unique, often cutting-edge products, as well as the healthy foods options. He also prefers working in an industry that shares his personal values in supporting sustainability, environmental stewardship and family farmers.

Ren was born and raised in Pasadena, California, completed his high school education in Elk Grove, California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton. He has been married for 37 years, has four adult children and became a first-time grandfather in 2020. When Ren isn’t working or spoiling his grandson, you can find him working in his yard , “tinkering” on projects in his garage, or reading a good book. His favorite wildbrine products are the Dill & Garlic Kraut and the new wildCREAMERY Chipotle Lime Dip. Currently Ren resides with his wife in Georgetown, Texas, a suburb of Austin.
